Dear Toya,You’re doing the best you can. And that’s pretty good. You don’t dress up as much as you used to, but you are still enchanting. Your intelligence outweighs your beauty. Instead of adorning your exterior, you are spending more time working on your business, meditating and learning new things. You even applied to grad school. You got in! Your mom is going to be stoked when she finds out. Why haven’t you told her yet? What are you afraid of? Are you still holding onto the fact that she was mad at you for dropping out a long time ago? I’m sure she has forgiven you.
Now forgive yourself.
Thank you for taking it easy on your family. They are doing the best they can too. Ambyr is making it so that you can shower and have time to yourself in the evenings. Levi is finally breastfeeding again. I commend you for not giving up. I know how hard things have been for you. I know about all the questions people have asked. You are handling this whole thing with so much grace. Oh, and that space you carved out for yourself in the kitchen is coming along nicely. Are you getting more plants? I think you should. And make your own bench cushion. It’s been a while since you’ve gone to the craft store. You love it there. Go. Good job on allowing your dad to be a part of Levi’s life. He just needed some time. I want you to know that Ambyr and Levi are so blessed to have you. You are KILLING the stay at home mom thing. My only hope for you is that you find more time for yourself, even if it means that you get up in the middle of the night and read a little. Preserve yourself.
